2. To review the Canadian Best Practice Recommendations related to TIA/stroke prevention.
3. To provide an update of what’s new in the stroke prevention literature

About the Speaker:
Dr. Julia Hopyan completed her Internal Medicine and Neurology Subspecialty training in Sydney, Australia. She currently works as staff stroke neurologist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Toronto, Canada. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto and contributes to stroke education and curriculum development both locally and nationally. Her clinical interests focus on the management of cerebrovascular disease and neurosonology.
