Mentorship means having people in your corner as you grow, whether you’re applying to NP school, starting your first role, or planning your next move.

It starts in our free community, where thousands of NPs and NP students share advice, answer each other’s questions, and support one another every day.

Members also asked for more personal support, so we now offer one-on-one mentorship sessions with Claudia. Each session is a dedicated space to reflect on your goals, work through career questions, and leave with clear next steps.

Meet your mentor

Claudia Mariano is the Director of Community Engagement at NP Circle and brings nearly 25 years of experience as an NP in clinical practice, leadership, and advocacy. She previously served as President of the Nurse Practitioners’ Association of Ontario and is the author of No One Left Behind: How Nurse Practitioners Are Changing the Canadian Health Care System. Although now retired from clinical practice, Claudia continues to support NPs and NP students through mentoring, teaching, and advising, with a focus on thoughtful, practical guidance.
