Why attend?

As a primary care nurse practitioner, you manage a wide scope, often with limited time and increasing complexity. The hard part is not only making the diagnosis. It is deciding what to do next. When to investigate further. When to reassure. How to manage safely and effectively. When to escalate or refer. How closely to follow.

The Primary Care Expert Series was built for those moments.

Now in its third year and returning by strong demand, this flagship program welcomes hundreds of nurse practitioners annually and focuses on high-impact, often complex areas of everyday primary care. Each session is shaped by real clinical questions and led by specialists who teach through a practical primary care lens, with clear frameworks, case-based discussion, and dedicated live Q&A. All sessions are delivered live and recorded for flexible access.

Who should attend?

This series is designed for nurse practitioners practicing in primary care, including those with focused or specialized areas of practice who are interested in the session topics. It is also open to other primary care clinicians seeking practical education grounded in real-world decision-making.

Content assumes a foundational understanding of primary care and is appropriate for both early-career and experienced clinicians.

How does it work?

The program includes 12 live online sessions delivered in Spring and Fall 2026.

Register once and receive access to all sessions, whether you attend live or watch the recordings on demand.

Each 90-minute session includes:

  • Specialist-led teaching

  • Case-based discussion

  • Live Q&A

A certificate of completion is available for learners who meet activity requirements.
