This self-paced online course is designed for NPs and primary care providers seeking a practical, evidence-based approach to ADHD assessment and management across the lifespan.

Topics include adult and high-masking presentations, ADHD in women, screening and diagnostic assessment, differential diagnosis, stimulant and non-stimulant treatment, medication titration and switching, common psychiatric comorbidities, side effect management, cardiovascular considerations, and controlled substance monitoring.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize common, atypical, and high-masking presentations of ADHD.

  • Apply validated screening and diagnostic approaches in primary care.

  • Differentiate ADHD from common psychiatric and medical mimics.

  • Develop and adjust evidence-based pharmacologic treatment plans.

  • Monitor treatment response, adverse effects, cardiovascular risk, and controlled substance use safely.
