About the Speaker
Dr. Alison Shea is an Associate Professor in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Psychiatry at McMaster University. She is the Director of the Menopause Clinic at St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton. Dr. Shea completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a clinical fellowship in Menopause and Reproductive Mental Health at the University of Toronto. She is a Certified Menopause Practitioner through The Menopause Society (formerly the North American Menopause Society, NAMS) and serves as Chair of the Examination Committee for The Menopause Society. Dr. Shea is also a board member of the Canadian Menopause Society. You can follow her on Instagram for evidence-based information about menopause and hormone health.
