A National Book Launch and Celebration of Nurse Practitioners Across Canada

Join nurse practitioners from across the country for the national launch of No One Left Behind: Decades of Growth, in partnership with NP Circle, and a special evening celebrating the history, growth, and future of the NP profession in Canada.

A continuation of the story that began with Claudia Mariano’s original No One Left Behind, this new book brings together the experiences of NPs working in different roles, communities, and areas of practice. It captures how the profession has evolved, the progress that has been made, and the work that still lies ahead.

Author Kim Harkness, Claudia Mariano, and contributors to the book will take us behind the stories, share personal reflections from their chapters, and explore what their experiences reveal about the profession today. We will also look ahead to the opportunities, challenges, and changes that could shape the next decade of NP practice in Canada.

What to expect

  • In conversation with Kim Harkness: Kim will share what inspired the new book, how the stories came together, and what she hopes readers will take away from it.

  • Voices from the book: Contributors from across Canada will share stories and reflections from their chapters.

  • The growth and future of the NP profession: A panel discussion on how far the profession has come, where NPs remain underused or misunderstood, and what progress could look like in the years ahead.

  • Live audience Q&A, polls, and book giveaways: Join the conversation and have the opportunity to win copies of No One Left Behind: Decades of Growth and My Mommy Is a Nurse Practitioner.

Registration

Aspiring NPs, NP students, new graduates, practising and retired NPs, educators, leaders, and anyone who supports or works alongside the profession are all welcome.

We’d love to have you join us.
