About the Speaker:
Tracey Hotta is the President of THMA Consulting and a nationally and internationally recognized leader in aesthetic medicine education and patient safety. She is the past President of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses (ISPAN) and a founding member of the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Specialty Nurses (CSASN). She chaired a task force that developed the Standards and Guidelines for Aesthetic Nurse Injectors, recognized by the Canadian Nurses Association. Tracey began her nursing career in 1984 and has dedicated over 35 years to practising in and advancing the specialty of aesthetic medicine. As one of the first RN injectors in Canada, she has been a longstanding advocate for patient safety and for ensuring the highest quality of aesthetics education. Her high standards and values are reflected in the THMA Consulting training program and its national team of clinical trainers. Tracey has published several articles on medical aesthetic topics and has held key editorial roles, including Editor of Plastic Surgical Nursing and Editor of the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th editions of the ISPAN Core Curriculum, the study guide for the Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) exam through CNet.
