About the Speakers
Dr. Annie Liu, MD, FRCPC, FAAD
Dr. Annie Liu is a Canadian and American board-certified dermatologist and Co-Founder of DermCafé, a virtual dermatology clinic focused on improving access to dermatologic care across North America. Through social media, Dr. Liu enjoys breaking down complex skin concerns into clear, trustworthy information. She is passionate about improving access to both dermatologist care and evidence-based dermatology education.
Dr. Brandon Tang, MD, MSc, FRCPC, ABIM
Dr. Brandon Tang is a board-certified internal medicine specialist with a special interest in hair loss and runs a virtual hair loss clinic in collaboration with Dr. Liu. He completed his MD at the University of Toronto, Internal Medicine residency at the University of British Columbia, and General Internal Medicine subspecialty training at the University of Toronto. Dr. Tang also holds a master’s degree in medical education from Harvard Medical School and regularly delivers educational talks for clinicians and trainees.
