No One Left Behind: A Decade of Growth
A new book celebrating the voices, impact, and evolution of Nurse Practitioners in Canada.
Share your story and help write the next chapter in our collective journey.
The legacy
Ten years ago, No One Left Behind, a book by Claudia Mariano, brought together voices of NPs across Canada.
It became a defining work for the profession, capturing the early growth, resilience, and identity of NPs.
It was studied in classrooms, shared in mentorship, and reflected in the lives of those who built this role from the ground up.
Now, a decade later, the story continues.
About the new book
No One Left Behind: A Decade of Growth is a national collection that celebrates how NPs are shaping the future of health care in Canada.
Led by Kim Harkness, with a foreword by Claudia Mariano, this new edition reflects how far the profession has come and how NPs continue to lead change and strengthen health across the country.
Why this new book matters
This book is a record of transformation.
It highlights how NPs are expanding access to care, advancing equity, and helping build a stronger, more connected health system.
It stands as a national testament to the knowledge, compassion, and leadership of NPs who continue to shape the future of care in Canada.
